1. Overview
At Infra Home Studio, we are committed to your satisfaction. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be granted for purchases made on our website.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a payment on our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
2. Digital Products — House Plan PDFs
Important: Our house plan drawings are digital products delivered instantly as downloadable PDF files after payment. Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are generally final once the download link has been accessed.
However, we do offer refunds in the following exceptional cases:
- Wrong plan delivered: If you received a different plan from what you ordered, we will either provide the correct plan or issue a full refund.
- Corrupted / unreadable file: If the PDF file cannot be opened or is damaged, we will resend the file or issue a refund.
- Duplicate payment: If your account was charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error, the extra amount will be fully refunded.
- Plan not as described: If the plan significantly differs from the specifications listed on the product page (e.g., different number of bedrooms, wrong plot size), we will offer a replacement or refund.
Refunds will NOT be issued for: Change of mind after download, ordering the wrong plan by mistake, or if the plan does not meet local building regulations (as plans are not region-specific by default).
3. Consultancy Services
For custom architectural consultancy bookings (custom plan design, 3D elevation, structural drawings, etc.):
- Before work has started: Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking and before any design work has commenced.
- After initial design work: A partial refund of up to 50% of the booking amount may be issued at our discretion, depending on the amount of work completed.
- After final delivery: No refund will be issued once the final files have been delivered and confirmed.
- Project abandonment by client: If the client does not provide required inputs (site measurements, preferences, etc.) within 30 days of booking, the booking may be forfeited without refund.
4. Payment Failure & Deducted Amounts
In cases where your payment was deducted but the order was not confirmed (transaction failure):
- Most such amounts are auto-reversed by your bank or payment provider within 5–7 business days.
- If the amount is not reversed within 7 business days, please contact us with your transaction ID and we will investigate and assist with the refund.
5. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Email us at contact@infrahomestudio.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — Order #[your order number]"
- Include your order number, registered email address, and a clear explanation of the issue.
- Attach any supporting evidence (screenshot of error, wrong file received, etc.).
- Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval.
6. Refund Timeline
Once a refund is approved and initiated by us:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5–7 business days
- UPI / Net Banking: 2–5 business days
- Wallets: 1–3 business days
Timelines depend on your bank or payment provider and are outside our control once initiated.
7. Cancellation Policy
Once an order for a digital product (PDF plan) is placed and payment is confirmed, the order cannot be cancelled as the download link is generated immediately.
For consultancy bookings, cancellations are accepted under the conditions described in Section 3 above.
